61st 12 Hours Of Sebring: Hour 2 Update

The story of hour 2? Thanks to a fire and a blown engine, we have our first retirement, and it's the Deltawing. What else happened in Hour 2?

Well, as I said, the Deltawing blew it's engine shortly after rejoining the circuit. One fire later, it's stopped on track and the caution is out. LMP1 had other highlights though, most notably including a four tires off, three tires on stop for the Muscle Milk HPD and a trip behind the wall for Dyson's 16. Audi's cars swapped positions up front too, and we had our first overall lead change.

In LMP2, Ryan Hunter-Reay had a big off on his own from the class lead, but he got back on track without issue and still held the LMP2 lead until his next set of stops. Now, Tom Kimber-Smith leads the 01 ESM car and both Level 5 cars, with none of the five LMP2 teams yet to put an amateur in the car.

LMPC's former leader, the 81 DragonSpeed car, got caught speeding in the pits, and has thus fallen to 5th in class. The PR1 car, numbered 52, now leads.

GT's still being dominated by the #4 Corvette, but the #91 Viper has driven up to second and will be going for the lead on this restart. The #62 Risi Competizione Ferrari inexplicably fell from 2nd to 5th, and the beneficiaries were the two BMW Z4s, which now sit in 3rd and 4th.

GTC's former leader also lost the top spot in the pits, with Patrick Dempsey falling from first to 11th in class. Cooper MacNeil leads Jan Heylen in that class.

RETIREMENTS: 0 (the car numbered 0, not no retirements)

"R U FASTER THAN A REDNECK?" ADS: Surprisingly none in this hour!

WHAT'S SPEED SHOWING INSTEAD OF THE RACE?: For this hour, NASCAR Cup final practice. Kyle Busch is fastest, but David Gilliland is third fastest, so that should tell you how relevant this session is.
