We've confirmed that the rumored 1.5-liter 3-banger turbo for the U.S.-market 2014 Ford Fusion is bogus. Yes, there's a new 1.5 EcoBoost, but it's a four-cylinder, and it's going to replace the 1.6 EcoBoost in this particular application. Ford will announce it later this week.

Thanks for sharing this. The lease on my car is nearing its end and I have been looking for the perfect car for me. Which is why I recently went to my local South New Jersey Ford Dealer and I was blown away by the new Fusion, truly a gorgeous car.
