The other day, I was out walking my dog when I noticed one of the newer Subaru Legacy sedans. Like most Subarus, it wasn't an especially good looking car, but one thing about it really struck me: the color. It was brown. "Damn," I said to my dog. "That's an especially nice shade of brown."
We're big fans of brown cars at Jalopnik. Not beige cars; screw beige, it needs to go away for ever. But if you get the shade of brown just right, it makes for a car that is unique and extremely classy. Steve McQueen liked brown cars, and who is anyone to disagree with him?
