How Is A Bentley Continental GT Speed Like An Audi S4?

Having recently driven the Bentley Continental GT Speed convertible, I can attest to the car's strange unwillingness to show its true weight on the road. Masking its gargantuan 5,500-pound bulk is the car's core competency. But as a corporate mate of the Audi S4, another car with nice road attributes, is the Continental similar in fundamental ways?

That's the premise of this week's Chris Harris on Cars, in which Chris tests a GT Speed coupe and an S4 back to back to see where one ends and the other begins, inside the big umbrella of the Volkswagen Group. No doubt there are some small things shared between them -- switches, electronics and the like. But are there bigger, more broadly functional similarities as well?

In other words, is there a corporate formula that supersedes the brands within Volkswagen? Yes, let's find out.
